I have been a serious photographer for many years. I studied photography while an undergrad at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, where I was awarded the highest score given for a student portfolio to that point. Since then, I have been fortunate to pursue my passion by offering beautiful and thoughtful wedding and portrait photography, my Trash the Dress work was featured on the national blog Rock 'n Roll Bride, and my boudoir work was featured in the "Denver Photography Examiner." I am also a contributor to the regional magazine "Get Born" as a cover image photgrapher and as a contributor throughout the magazine.
I have created commercial images for Lambspun of Colorado, The Tapestry House, Paul Wood Florist, Wild Basin Lodge, KaiT Designs, Stonehouse Grille, Once Upon a Party, BioLinks Solutions, The Larimer Chorale, and The City of Fort Collins/Martinez Farm. My fine art work focuses on black and white and vivid color landscape and architectural photography inspired by Margaret Bourke-White and Ansel Adams. I was first assistant for a LIFE magazine cover shoot in 2006. I also belong to WPPI, the largest professional organization for my field, and finished in the top 100 images (out of several hundred) in their 2007 annual professional 8x10 competition. I look forward to sharing my passion with you.
I recently attended the WPPI 2010 Conference, and I am excited to bring everything I learned there into my business.
